Professor Felicity Baker invited speaker at WDC-workshop

Felicity Baker, International leader of the Homeside project, presented at the World Dementia Council Workshop on Friday February 5th about the Homeside project and MIDDEL project.

Four presenters including Felicity, provided an overview of models of care of people with dementia. The invited guests (50) comprised global leaders in dementia care spanning policy, health economics, and community and residential care contexts. The presentations were followed by a 45 minute discussion with attendees with a view of publishing a global report on the innovative care models. This will be published on the World Dementia Council website in the near future.

World Dementia Council is an international charity established bye the G8 at the London Dementia Summit in 2013, to improve the lives of people affected by dementia.
