Participation in activities of daily living
The team form University of Physical Education, with the expertise of functional training of activities of daily living (movement science, occupational therapy) will assess how the music and reading interventions can influence functional abilities and independence of persons with dementia. To measure the outcome “Motor performance”, the “Bruininks Motor Ability Test (BMAT)” (Wilson et al., 1995; Crosetto Deitz et al., 2009) will be utilised, which allow to collect data of adults gross and fine motor skills needed for activities of daily living (ADL).
